The University of Copenhagen conferred the title of honorary alumnus on Paul Auster. Auster reads “White Spaces” and engages in a Q/A session with the audience.

Paul Auster visited the University of Copenhagen for a conversation with literary scholar Inge Birgitte Siegumfeldt. Earlier that year, Auster and Siegumfeldt had published A Life in Words - a discussion of all Auster's narrative prose offering rare insights into the art and craft of a writer.
